What is Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive?
Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive is a synthetic engine antifriction lubricant to help better protect internal engine components including pistons, flat tappet camshafts, lifters, valvetrain and all other parts. This is especially important at engine start up, when most wear is done. That is why they say one of the worst things you can do is start your engine.
Why do I need an Engine & Oil Additive?
Engine oils have become very thin, almost as thin as water. This is in response to government mandates for increased mpg requirements, not to better lubricate the engine. This along with newer start stop technology will increase wear, and decrease the longevity of your engine. Using Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive will reduce this wear and increase the life of the engine.
How does Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive work?
The common element between all the engine components is the oil. Oil is the life-blood of the engine and is pumped under pressure to the internal parts. Engine oils are generally used to reduce friction between moving parts. In addition to lubricating, motor oil must cool, provide corrosion protection and be a method of removing contaminants. The main parts needing oil for lubrication is the valvetrain including the camshaft & lifters, bearings and pistons. When installed, Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive reduces friction which helps cool and lubricates these moving parts better than oil alone. The clinging properties hold the oil to metal parts preventing wear and dry starts. Special additives also prevent oil thinning at high temperatures where normal oil fails. The Nano Tungsten spheres creates the sacrificial (disposable) layer on any component where metal to metal contact happens preventing the metal itself from being worn away. These spheres contain many layers, sort of like an onion. When put under pressure they can shed these Nano thin layers instead of that happening to internal engine parts. They fill and smooth rough and scratched surfaces.
What is a Nano?
The International System of Units states that Nano is a “prefix” that means one Billionth. A nanometer is one-billionth of a meter, for comparison a sheet of paper is 100,000 nanometers thick. These are exceptionally small particles allowing the oil to become a super lubricant.
How much Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive do I install?
One bottle of Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive is formulated to treat 4.5 to 6.5 liters of oil for regular vehicles. For larger engines use one bottle for every 5.5 liters of capacity. On 4-stroke ATV, motorcycle and other small engines, use approximately 90 mL per liter of oil. Do NOT use in wet clutch applications, as this formula is too effective in reducing friction.
Does Rislone contain chlorine or any chlorine like additives?
No, Rislone does not condone or produce any engine additive products with chlorine. We are aware of other additive companies which use chlorine and it shows to reduce wear in laboratory testing, but can do damage to engine bearings and other components in real world use.
How long does it take to start working?
Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive starts working the minute you install and start driving the vehicle to protect internal engine parts from damaging wear.
Can I use Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive in my newer vehicle?
Yes, this formulation is designed to work equally well in new and older engines. Not only will you have a better lubricated & protected engine, but the product contains the tried and true Rislone detergent & dispersant cleaning package that help found the brand. Use of Rislone will not void your new car warranty.
Will it work in synthetic oil?
Yes, this unique Rislone formulation uses a fully formulated GF-5 / SN rated synthetic motor oil that is compatible for all vehicles.
Can it be used with regular petroleum motor oil?
Yes, Rislone works with all petroleum-based motor oils including conventional, high mileage and synthetic formulas. In fact, Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive will turn regular petroleum oil into a premium synthetic blend.
When should I add to my engine?
Can be used anytime, at or between oil changes.
How long does Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive last?
When used in combination with a good quality motor oil, Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive is designed to be used once per year, or with every other oil change.
Can I use Rislone Nano Prime Engine & Oil Additive in my diesel engine?
Yes, it is recommended to use one liter for every 5.5 liters of oil capacity.
